Okay You've Got A Business or Two, Now How Do You Use These Tools

Now I've got a couple of home based businesses I'm really into now, how do I market them how do I use my blog to generate leads, what pray tale is an auto responder and how will it help me with my business.  What tools do I need to be successful and most of all to make money in my businesses.

Let's start with out lining up my businesses and seeing exactly what I'm into.

1. EDM/MyEcon, my financial education business. This is my crown!

2. SweetC Publishing, to showcase my books and assist others at being authors


3. Lyoness, retail shopping card with cash back need to work it

4. Paycation/Extreme Travel, Travel Consultant and business share opportunity!

Now that this is down I need blogs x 4 to promote and market each brand, which is ultimately me! Yes I have learned something.

On each blog I need a lead magnet to capture my hits.

Also on each page I need to offer something of value for my clients.

Also using other social media is warranted to promote each business. I also need an auto responder that post in multiple media plus one that also posts on Facebook in multiple groups.

I can use some free modes like hoot suite to start until my businesses generate income.

My blogs will also help once they generate a following.

Business Plans..... Are They Important

Hello, today  I have a few questions for you concerning your business.  What is your business plan?  How important is this to your goals? Finally can you honestly have a productive and successful business without a business plan?

Well, let's start from the beginning.  According to wikipedia,

A business plan is a formal statement of a set of business goals, the reasons they are believed attainable, and the plan for reaching those goals. It may also contain background information about the organization or team attempting to reach those goals.

In addition business plans may also target changes in perception and branding by the customer, client, taxpayer, or larger community. When the existing business is to assume a major change or when planning a new venture, a 3 to 5 year business plan is required, since investors will look for their annual return in that time frame.


When you are a start up or new business, banks, small business administrators, urban leagues, and other entities will often ask you for a business plan before they will even talk ,to you and/or   counsel you and definitely before loaning any money.  Also as we see in the above definition, your goals are defined within your business plan, therefore stating your goals are very important and necessary.  Taking this into effect it is safe to assume the  answer to  the final question is a resounding no,

you must have a sound business plan which definitely defines your goals in order to have maintain and succeed in business.

How Important Is Your Brand? What does this mean for you?

Understanding your Brand and the power of it is so important in business.  As an example let's take the iPhone.

See the people in line here, they are waiting on the release of the new iPhone 6. The strange thing is this release is still two weeks out. What's more bizarre is no one knows what the updates are on the iPhone 6, yes, it's still a mystery.  What's even more bizarre is the third and fourth person in this line paid the first and second person 2500.00 a piece for their spots.  This shows the power of Brand marketing. That's called sight unseen marketing and it proves the power of the brand.  We as entrepreneurs should always concentrate on our brands because the power of the brand is what sells the product! We should always market our brand because WE are our brand!  To succeed in any business you should always remember " you do not market your company, you market your brand" Tanya Aliza.  

People do not purchase your company, they purchase your brand or a facsimile of it et al  iPhone,iPad, Galaxy S5, they do not purchase Apple, Samsung, etc... So it is always important to market your brand Because your BRAND is you.

Generating Interests in your Business

Hello, I had a chance to see an awesome webinar.  I learned some awesome tips on generating business  interests.  First, do you realize its important to market your brand, not your company.  You are your brand.
I've always wondered how do you generate and keep people interested in your business. How do you maintain a status quo and still remain on top of your game. In other words how do I keep traffic directed toward my business.  Well thanks to Tanya Aliza, I now understand the importance of being consistent and marketing my brand which in turn will market my business. Such an awesome process that I can't believe I didn't see it early on.

Getting to the core on my soon to be published book.  I'm so excited. I've selected my cover. I've got a domain for my publishing company. This is coming together.  I'm a little overcome right now as I never thought I would actually write a book.  Well here I go. This is so awesome.  When I started this journey of entrepreneurship I decided I was determined to succeed at all cost.  I've been in front of the eight ball all my life constantly getting rolled over.  Well at this stage in my life I have decided enough is enough. I am taking the bull by the horns and steering him in my direction.  With my new business of financial education and my publishing company, speaking engagements, and financial seminars I am well on my way to a life of reward and helping others. This is so awesome. Financial Responsibility Paying Down Debt

Hello hope your summer is exciting. I'm having a blast educating the masses. I'm also working on publishing my manuscripts.  Be watching for my first release soon. All of this is due to learning financial responsibility and it's impact on our lives.  Now that we have got our income source under control we must work on debt management.

 Paying down our debt is paramount to everything to be achieved.  Paying down your debt frees up money for the final steps to financial freedom.  Have a great weekend and think about this.

Financial Responsibility and Laying the Ground Work

Hello I'm back. Didn't mean to stay away so long. Yes I am learning time management also. This will not happen again. Next on my numerous agenda venturing into the business world is incorporating financial responsibility in with all this.  The first thing I had to recognize was a need to create a positive cash flow. 
As with most of us I work a 9to5 or in my terms a sundown to sunrise as I work nights, and it just doesn't fit the bill for securing all my needs let alone my wants.  Hmmmmm, now  what must I do? well first I must maximize the amount of money I am bringing home. After much research I discovered the first thing to look at was exactly what is coming out of my check.

Medicare
OASDI
Insurance
       Health
       Life
Flex Spending Accounts
Uniforms
Meals

Now which of these do I control? Surprising as it seems I controlled them all.  What did you say, you control your taxes? Yes I do and I didn't know that either. But you control your taxes and we forget that and most of us are still operating on the very first W-4 we completed when we first started working 15-20 years ago prior to marriage, children, divorce etc.... and we are still being taxed accordingly.  So the first thing we should all do is to take care of this.  Well enough for today. The Begginning

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Not sure who wrote that but it's a quote I've heard my entire life.  Not until recently did I fully understand the real meaning and how it applied to me.  After much soul searching and thought I knew I had to better myself financially, mentally, and physically. So I sought out virtual business as a way to be in everyplace at once.  I've researched several avenues and narrowed my search down to a few businesses and opportunities. I've also selected my primary concentration for my main stream.  Now that I have that selected I'm in the process of selecting my feeders, those businesses that supply my pot for my main business and to keep me from dipping in my pocket. One thing you must remember not to spend out your pocket for anything. Always make your business pay its way.
